The first floor of the two-story Medusa Beach Club in Palma fell on Thursday, killing two German ladies, ages 20 and 30, one Spanish woman, age 23, who was working as a waitress, and a Senegalese guy, age 44.
According to a Palma City Council spokesman, Dutch tourists made up the whole injured group.
Ambulances were waiting outside as firefighters were observed evacuating individuals from the building; some were carried out on stretchers.
According to a representative for the German Foreign Ministry, authorities and the consulate in Mallorca are closely communicating.
He claimed that while some were eating and others were dancing, everything happened really fast.
