Strong earthquake tremors caused widespread concern among residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Malakand district and surrounding areas.
The Hindu Kush mountain range in Afghanistan was the epicenter of the 3.5-magnitude earthquake, which originated 133 kilometers below the surface of the earth, according to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad.
Many residents left their houses in fear of potential aftershocks as a result of the earthquake.
Thankfully, preliminary reports show that no serious damage or injuries have been reported thus far.
