According to a Tuesday story on News, a guy was hit by a stray bullet in the parking lot of the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in Karachi and lost his life.
Afzal, 32, has been recognized by the police as the dead.
Afzal went to the hospital to meet the sick son of his cousin, who was admitted.
Afzal was outside the children’s emergency ward with pals when the incident happened, according to the police.
Witness Sajjad described what transpired before the disaster, having been in the hospital’s parking lot at the time. Sajjad stated, “There were sounds of intense aerial firing just minutes before Afzal was hit,” and that it appeared to be coming from a nearby location.
“The sounds of gunfire were still ringing when the deceased was being taken away on a motorcycle to the hospital’s emergency ward,” Sajjad said.
To find out who shot the pistol, police are currently watching CCTV footage from the site and the surrounding neighborhoods.
According to a police complaint, a female was shot and hurt in Rawalpindi earlier in the day. The girl was struck by a stray bullet while she was standing on her home’s rooftop.
She was moved to the medical facility. The girl was recognized as Asma, who is 14 years old.
