At Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, members of the Airport Security Force (ASF) found 670 grams of brown heroin valued at lakhs of rupees from a traveler headed to Sharjah.
ASF officials said that Muhammad Naeem, the passenger, had deftly concealed the drugs in the bag’s inner layers.
After checking the passenger’s luggage, ASF officers found cocaine inside, thwarting the smuggling effort.
The accused also had up to twenty drug-filled capsules found on them.
The recovered drugs and the accused were turned over to the ANF authorities.
