During a raid at Karachi Airport, the immigration wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) detained Alian Zaman, a passenger, after discovering more than 47 forged visas on his cell phone.
Zaman was trying to use an agent to help him obtain a Malaysian visit visa in order to fly to the UK.
He was forced to pay Rs2.8 million in total for the fictitious visa services. Zaman has given the agent Rs. 4 million in cash and microfinance accounts as far.
The people engaged in the visa fraud scheme are being targeted by the FIA, which is still looking into the matter.
