Perry, well known for his role as the wise-cracking Chandler Bing on Friends, died in his Los Angeles home last October after being discovered lifeless in a swimming pool.
The Los Angeles Police Department said it is collaborating with the Drug Enforcement Agency on an investigation into why Perry, 54, had so much ketamine in his system at the time of his death.
Perry’s autopsy revealed that he was receiving ketamine infusion therapy, an experimental medication.
However, the medical examiner concluded that Perry’s final treatment was one and a half weeks before his death, which would not explain the amounts of ketamine found.
