As the coalitions among the opposition parties develop, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), stated that the party will decide on a potential coalition with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) following Eid.
The JUI-F called a consultative council meeting to consider starting an anti-government movement alongside the PTI, he told reporters in Islamabad on Saturday. He stated that a potential partnership with the former ruling party will also be decided at the meeting.
Referencing previous ruling party founding chairman Imran Khan and Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the seasoned politico leader claimed that the PTI’s true leadership is still behind bars and that those outside lack cohesiveness.
