Students from medical universities congregated in Islamabad to demonstrate against the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MD CAT), claiming that over 20 questions on the test were outside of the approved curriculum.
The demonstrators voiced their concerns, claiming that the addition of questions not covered in their coursework had a substantial negative influence on their ability to perform well on the test. They also questioned the fairness of the exam and the integrity of the evaluation process.
Protesters demanded that school authorities take prompt action to resolve their complaints and guarantee that exams in the future closely follow the syllabus.
The students who staged the protests called for an overhaul of the MD CAT and a fair chance to prove their knowledge without being hindered by unrelated material.
