According to reports, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “not ready” to put their years-long feud with the royal family behind them just yet.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly had no intention of spending Christmas with the Royal family this year, despite rumors to the contrary.
Relationship specialist Louella Alderson commented on the subject, saying, “It would be surprising if either side of the family would want to spend Christmas together, given the recent media attention Meghan, Harry, and the Royal Family have been receiving with the release of the book.”

According to The Express, she continued, “It’s a time for families to get together and celebrate, but with tension and hurt feelings still present, it may not be the best environment for reconciliation.”
“While this continues, it would be unlikely that Meghan, Harry and the Royal Family would be ready to reconcile or celebrate together.”
Alderson continued by saying that a single holiday spent together would not miraculously erase the years’ worth of misery suffered by the family members on both sides.
“Resolving potential tensions would likely take much more than just one-holiday celebration,” she stated. It would necessitate mutual understanding, empathy, and open and honest communication.
