Both celebrities and critics made fun of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for their hasty arrival at the scene of the California wildfires, which have destroyed thousands of homes and claimed tens of thousands of lives.
In an article for The Telegraph, columnist and assistant editor Michael Deacon highlighted the discontent among Hollywood’s elite toward Meghan.
He wrote, “If you want to know how far the Sussexes’ star has fallen in America, consider this,” after highlighting “how far” the Sussexes’ star has plummeted.
“Harry and Meghan went to Pasadena, Los Angeles, the other day to give hugs and condolences to the wildfire survivors.”
And “surely even the couple’s sternest critics, you might have assumed, would give them credit for that”?
