Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, the two children of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are probably going to have a “laid-back” fashion sense as they become older in the United States.
In an interview with GB News, royal analyst Bella Hignett contrasted Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s upbringing with that of other royal offspring. “Archie and Lilibet will still need to exercise some moderation in their attire. However, they won’t be quite as formal,” she said.
She claimed that growing up in California, where “[the] dress is much more relaxed and laid-back,” “will exacerbate” Archie and Lilibet’s laid-back lifestyle.
“The climate and the fact they won’t have to attend as many formal events means the dress code in general will be more casual,” she said.
This coincides with rumors that Queen Elizabeth was incensed when the Sussexes gave their daughter the childhood moniker Lilibet.
In his recently released biography, Charles III: New King, New Court, Robert Hardman asserted this. He added: “One privately recalled that Elizabeth II had been ‘as angry as I’d ever seen her’ in 2021 after the Sussexes announced that she had given them her blessing to call their baby daughter ‘Lilibet’, the Queen’s childhood nickname.”
