After claiming that she is now Sussex and not Markle, Meghan Markle is receiving a lot of negative feedback on the internet.
When Mindy Kaling referred to her as “Markle” in her recently launched Netflix series With Love, Meghan, she said, “You know I’m Sussex now.”
“It’s our shared name as a family, and I guess I hadn’t realized how meaningful that would be to me until we had children,” she said in a People interview.
I adore the fact that Archie, Lili, H, and I all share that trait. It’s very important to me,” she continued.
The Duchess of Sussex was criticized by a number of X users on the platform for claiming the title as a surname.
