Travis Scott was detained in Miami on allegations of trespassing and disorderly drunkenness following an altercation on a boat early Thursday morning.
The American rapper was arrested by police at Miami Beach Marina at around 01:45 local time, according to official documents.
Officers were called in response to complaints of fighting on a yacht, according to an arrest report from the Miami Beach Police Department that News was able to obtain.
Jacques Bermon Webster, the 33-year-old’s real name, is listed as his incarcerated name on the Miami-Dade County Corrections Department website.
When there were reports of disturbance, police saw Travis Scott yelling at passengers on a yacht.
According to the police, they “sensed a strong smell of alcohol” when they spoke with the musician.
He left the pier after being told to, according to the report, but not before he “walked backwards yelling obscenities to the occupants of the vessel”.
After that, Scott reportedly fled the area, but five minutes later, authorities saw him coming back and making an attempt to return to the yacht.
He “disregarded officers’ commands” and become “erratic” when confronted, yelling and upsetting neighbors, according to the police.
