Following more than 24 hours of technical delays, Microsoft reported that the majority of Teams and Outlook services had been restored as of Monday night.
The business declared a complete restoration of services on Tuesday afternoon. Although this data doesn’t accurately reflect the scope, tracking website Downdetector displayed over 5,000 user-reported issues at the height of the outage.
Just before 11:00 p.m. ET, Microsoft said on X, “We’ve restored functionality for all impacted services except Outlook on the web, which is still affected for a small number of users.” “In order to fully recover, we’re monitoring and troubleshooting.”
Reports of outages on Downdetector had significantly decreased by Monday afternoon, the business reported.
