ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior on Sunday disclosed shocking data regarding the recent “do-or-die” demonstration in Islamabad by the Imran Khan-founded Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), days after the mayhem in the federal capital city.
The ministry provided a thorough explanation of the events that transpired from its discussions with the PTI prior to the party’s protest march on November 24 in response to an order from the Islamabad High Court (IHC), including the destruction of purported social media propaganda, the violent incidents, and the economic losses.
According to the ministry, the IHC ordered the federal government to take all necessary steps to keep the federal capital law and orderly on November 21.
The interior minister was instructed by the high court to discuss this matter with the PTI leadership.
