While seeing their Malibu house burn to the ground during the Los Angeles fire, Milo Ventimiglia broke the heartbreaking news to his expectant wife.
In an interview with CBS News, the This Is Us star described how the pair saw the heartbreaking scene on a terrifying security video.
Thankfully, it didn’t happen until Tuesday, January 7, when the actor, his pregnant wife Jarah Mariano, and their dog safely left.
Ventimiglia became clearly upset as they discussed the birth of their first child together, remembering that “everything [that] was set up.”
He also stated how hard it was for them to comprehend that they had witnessed their home burn down.
“I believe there will be a moment of shock.”
