On Monday, Mingora and the surrounding villages of Swat were rocked by an earthquake.
The National Seismic Monitoring Center reports that the earthquake’s epicenter was 80 kilometers below the surface of the Hindukush mountains and that its magnitude was 4.5.
Panic was spread throughout the neighborhood by the earthquake. But as of yet, no fatalities or property damage have been reported.
