Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) supporters are carrying out protests even after coming to a compromise with the government; Balochistan Home Minister Zia Ullah Langau claimed that the demonstrators were “unknowingly” advancing India’s goal.
In a video message released on Monday, Langau stated, “Some people are unwittingly fulfilling the Indian agenda […] India is trying unsuccessfully to use our people against us.”
The minister’s comments are in reference to the BYC’s continued sit-ins in different parts of Balochistan following its agreement with the local government and the cancellation of its protests on Thursday of last week.
