In an image, Gideon Falter, the CEO of the Campaign Against Antisemitism, was stopped by a Metropolitan Police officer from crossing a street close to the London march.
Wearing a kippah skull cap, the officer described Mr. Falter as “openly Jewish” and stated that he was “worried about the reaction” to his attendance at the event.
Since the encounter, Mr. Falter has accused the Met Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley of “victim-blaming” and called for his resignation.
Extended video of the event shows the officer calling Mr. Falter “disingenuous” for claiming he just wanted to cross the road and accusing him of wanting to go against the march’s direction.
