The National Democratic Movement’s (NDM) provincial organizer, Umer Sherani, was shot and killed on Monday in Dera Ismail Khan’s Daraban Tehsil by unidentified persons.
Sherani, an NDM leader Mohsin Dawar’s close aide, had apparently received a police threat alert a few days prior.
The NDM leader was in charge of planning the party’s provincial initiatives. The political climate in the area is probably going to be significantly impacted by his murder.
Nekzali Shah, a native of Eidak, North Waziristan, was slain in Mir Ali on Sunday during the Aman Pasoon.
