A discussion on this topic was presided over by the federal minister of the interior at the CDA headquarters. Proposals for the creation of the Safari Park were examined during the meeting.
The Federal Interior Minister was briefed on the project by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa. Mohsin Naqvi approved the building of a safari park in the capital in concept at the meeting. 200 acres of land will be used for the Safari Park. There will be over 5,000 birds and animals housed in the park. It will begin with 2,000 animals and birds in the initial phase.
Mohsin Naqvi, the interior minister, gave the order to register the Safari Park with the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
