The 350 most valued corporations on the London Stock Exchange were examined, as well as data from 36 of the top 50 UK companies that are not listed on the stock exchange.
The Parker study Committee and the Department of Business and Trade undertook an independent study, and they discovered that 96 of the 100 most valued businesses on the Financial Times Stock Exchange (FTSE) 100 had at least one director with an ethnic minority background on their boards.
While the figure remained the same in 2023 as in 2022, the number of CEOs from ethnic minority origins in the FTSE 100 increased from seven in 2022 to 12 last year.
