QUETTA: Police said on Sunday that over 20 laborers had been “abducted” by armed individuals in Musakhail, indicating that violence in Balochistan is still a problem.
The police said that the gunmen stole around twenty laborers from the gas company site after opening fire on their camp and setting eight bulldozers on fire.
The event occurred just hours after seven laborers in the Panjgur area of the province were shot and killed by unidentified assailants in a house.
According to police details, the laborers lived in a house in the Khuda-e-Abadan section of the district, which is where the incident happened and resulted in seven fatalities and one injury.
The horrific occurrence was verified by the Panjgur deputy commissioner, who said that the perpetrators broke into the home and started shooting at the occupants.
