KARACHI: Over the past week, more than 200 Pakistanis have been deported from a number of nations, including the US and Saudi Arabia.
The deportations draw attention to a number of problems, such as human trafficking, legal transgressions, and visa violations.
A total of 220 Pakistanis were repatriated from nations like the US, China, Turkey, Zimbabwe, and Senegal, according to immigration sources. Twelve of them were taken into custody when they returned to Karachi.
Several deportations were conducted in a 48-hour period between January 19 and 21.
47 people were deported from Saudi Arabia for a variety of reasons, such as working without a sponsor, blacklisting, overstaying, and visa-related problems.
