In a major step to help the families of Pakistanis who died in a recent boat tragedy in Morocco, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Tuesday that 13 Pakistani nationals’ dead remains would be returned from Morocco this week.
The mortal remains of four Pakistanis who have passed away are expected to arrive in Islamabad tomorrow (Wednesday), according to a statement from Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan.
According to Radio Pakistan, they include Sajjad Ali from Mandi Bahauddin, Muhammad Arslan Khan from Shaikhupura, Qaiser Iqbal from Gujrat, and Hamid Shabbir from Mandi Bahauddin.
The government has made a number of preparations in accordance with the repatriation procedure to guarantee the mortal remains’ safe arrival and transportation.
