Martyn’s bill would compel venues and local authorities in the UK to have training requirements and preventative strategies against terror attacks. Martyn Hett, 29, was one of the 22 people killed in the bombing at the end of an Ariana Grande concert in May 2017.
Figen Murray, Mr. Hett’s mother, who has pushed for the passage of the legislation, will be walking for 16 days with friends, family, legislators, security industry professionals, and members of the public.
It will be May 22, the seventh anniversary of her arrival in Downing Street.
