The “secret boyfriend” of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who is pursuing charges against President Trump and several of his allies for alleged interference in the 2020 election, is the target of Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’s attention.
The firebrand conservative lawmaker filed a complaint against Nathan Wade, the outside attorney that Willis hired for the Trump case and who allegedly had an inappropriate romantic relationship with, with Georgia’s ethics commission on Thursday morning. The complaint alleges that Wade failed to register as a lobbyist and that he failed to file paperwork disclosing “his solicitation” of Willis and “excessive gifts” to the prosecutor, thereby posing “potential serious violations” of state law.
“It is believable to allege that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis used federal and county COVID funds to compensate her for her unqualified,
In the complaint shared with Fox News Digital, Greene claimed that she was paying her secret boyfriend Nathan Wade—who has never tried a felony case—$250 per hour to collude with the Biden White House counsel and assist Fani Willis in bringing historic RICO felony charges against President Trump and eighteen co-defendants.
“Willis allegedly paid her secret boyfriend a significantly higher hourly rate than another one of her special prosecutors who actually has significant experience,” she said. “And with the nearly $700,000 Wade has collected in government funds as one of Willis’ special prosecutors, he has allegedly taken her on a luxury Caribbean cruise, a trip to Napa, and other lavish trips.”
SENATE REPUBLICANS OF GEORGIA CONSIDER FORMING SPECIAL PANEL TO LOOK INTO ALLEGATIONS OF FANI WILLIS’S MISCONDUCT.
The public “has a right to know who, or what, has influence over the officials employed by their tax dollars,” according to Greene, who also claims “serious violations of the Georgia Campaign Finance Act” in the complaint.
Because of this, the Act mandates that lobbyists disclose the efforts they make to influence lawmakers, administrators, and district attorneys’ decisions while they carry out their official responsibilities. Requirements for registration and disclosure expose the notoriously shady intentions of lobbyists and hold dishonest public officials accountable.”
