Birmingham: In July of this year, Atif Aslam, the most diverse music hero in Pakistan, will play at the World Championship of Legends’ second edition opening ceremony at Birmingham’s famous Edgbaston cricket stadium.
Before the July 18 tournament starts between the hosts, the England Champions, and the Pakistan Champions, the pop music virtuoso will light the stage on fire with a live performance.
Known by most as the WCL, the competition has become a prominent T20 League with teams composed of retired and uncontracted champion cricket players from six countries: England, South Africa, India, Pakistan, and the West Indies.
In order to win the WCL championship at Edgbaston, the Pakistani and Indian champions advanced to the final.
