The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) received the laptop and cell phones of Armaghan, the main suspect in the kidnapping and murder of Mustafa Amir, on Saturday.
Additionally, the principal accused is suspected of participating in cybercrimes and money laundering.
Computers taken during a raid at Armaghan’s home were turned over to the FIA, according to CIA officials, who also stated that forensic analysis of all the evidence and case properties will be carried out in order to advance the case.
Investigations were also underway into the suspect’s suspected connections to the international drug trade, they added.
