KARACHI: In spite of the police attack on the demonstrators, Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) persisted in holding sit-ins against the Parachinar disaster in a number of locations throughout Karachi, the nation’s commercial center.
At least nine separate locations are currently hosting protest demonstrations, which are immobilizing the city’s daily life and economic activity.
The road leading to Sohrab Goth from Ancholi, Lasbela, Tower, and other neighborhoods is restricted to traffic because to the political-religious party’s sit-ins, according to Karachi traffic police. This includes Abul Hasan Isphahani Road, Numaish Chowrangi, Kamran Chowrangi, and other localities.
After many encounters with the demonstrators earlier in the evening, the police ultimately began a crackdown to free the city’s highways for traffic.
The demonstrators set fire to their six motorcycles and threw stones at the cops.
