In an attempt to make it easier for residents to access the authority’s services in the city, the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) opened its second “mega registration center” in Karachi on Thursday.
The new facility is situated at Safoora Chowrangi on University Road in the city. Director General Nadra Ehtasham Shahid says that it will be open for business 16 hours a day, from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m.
According to the official, the Nadra center will serve 700 citizens every day through its 20 counters; by the end of 2024, that figure will rise to 1,500.
Please take note that this is the 21st Nadra center in the metropolis.According to information on Nadra’s website, additional government-run centers in the city are located in Malir, VIP NRC RHO, Karachi Senior Citizen, Landhi, Gulshan-e-Hadid, Landhi, Soldier Bazar, Lyari, Saoodabad, Awami Markaz Sharea Faisal, and Shah Faisal Colony.
