Aamir Sarfaraz, also known as Tamba, was gravely injured when unknown motorcyclists opened fire on him on Sunday morning. He was one of the suspects in the 2013 attack on Indian death row prisoner Sarabjit Singh in Kot Lakhpat jail. Tamba passed away after treatment.
The incident happened in the Islampura neighborhood of Lahore, seriously wounding Tamba. His family acknowledged his death, however hospital reports claimed he passed away from severe hemorrhage. The reports further stated that the dead was struck by four bullets.
Speaking to reporters during a news conference held at the FIA office in Lahore, Naqvi asserted that there is suspicion that India was involved in Aamir Tamba’s murder because of certain evidence that has been discovered. “An investigation is underway,” he continued.
