KARACHI: Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), visited the National Stadium in Karachi on Wednesday to examine the continuing renovations being made to the venue in anticipation of Pakistan’s hosting of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy 2025 the following year.
Top international teams are expected to visit Pakistan for the renowned competition, thus the PCB is working to ensure the stadium satisfies international standards and offers spectators a fun experience.
Naqvi ordered the stadium’s electronic screen, which obstructs certain supporters’ view at the moment, to be raised for improved visibility during his visit.
During his visit, the PCB chairman stated, “We want fans to have an uninterrupted view of the matches, so adjusting the screen placement is a priority.”
