ISLAMABAD: Today, the country is celebrating Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s 148th birthday with great fervor and patriotism.
Special prayers for Pakistan’s advancement, prosperity, and unity were said at mosques all around the nation to start the day.
All provincial capitals greeted the day with a 21-gun salute, and in observance of the Father of the Nation, the national flag was raised at significant public and private structures.
Today, the Mazar-e-Quaid mausoleum in Karachi also hosted a classy changing of guard ceremony.
Across the country, special events and activities are being planned, including as exhibitions, conferences, debates, seminars, and cultural gatherings.
