Pakistan’s national javelin champion Yasir Sultan has voiced his dissatisfaction, stating that the government hasn’t kept its word to him since his victory.
Yasir said during a Lahore press conference, “I am proud that Arshad Nadeem has made the country’s name known worldwide,” while expressing delight over fellow athlete Arshad Nadeem’s international success. His accomplishments serve as an example for all of us.”
He claimed to be the current national champion, having placed third in the Asian Athletics Championship in June 2023. But after his personal achievement, the national javelin thrower expressed his dissatisfaction with the government’s broken promises.
