Speaking on a broadcast, Nauman Ijaz stated that he had first opposed his son Zaviyar entering show business because of the fierce competition.
I made every effort to dissuade my kid from entering the media. In our industry, surviving is not an easy feat. It is an ongoing battle.
“I never thought my son would be an actor, but destiny had other ideas.”
Zaviyar has established a solid reputation for himself in the field despite his misgivings. He has given exceptional performances in plays such as Tere Ishq Ke Naam and Bakhtawar.
Nauman acknowledged that he never gave his son acting advice or techniques.
He would have wanted to let him make his own way in the industry.
“I never gave him any advice because, at home, I’m just an ordinary person, not an actor,” Nauman stated.
“I’ve worked in this field for 35 years, and it took me a long time to get where I am. Life is not a shortcut.
“You must persevere on the journey in order to achieve success.”
