Following a meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the United States and Israel are committed to preventing Iran’s nuclear aspirations and its influence in the Middle East.
After meeting Rubio in Jerusalem, Netanyahu stated that while they talked about a variety of topics, “none more important than Iran.”
He declared that “America and Israel stand shoulder to shoulder in countering the threat of Iran.”
“We agreed that Iran’s aggression in the region must be stopped, and that the ayatollahs must not possess nuclear weapons.”
