Next week, a two-person team from Transport Canada, the Canadian government department in charge of transportation services and laws, will travel to Pakistan to assess the security setup at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.
The evaluation, which is slated to start on July 15, will concentrate on going over the airport’s cargo operations, infrastructure, catering, and aviation security paperwork.
This will be Pakistan’s aviation security system’s fifth international inspection in recent months.
The assessment’s objective, according to the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), is to make sure the aviation security it oversees conforms with the requirements established by Transport Canada and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
