It looks like NFL MVP Cam Newton got into a fight this weekend at a 7-on-7 football game.
Social media users have been circulating a video of Newton, the quarterback for the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers, fighting with a few men who appeared to be from Top Shelf Performance. These men had teams competing in Atlanta’s inaugural “We Ball Sports” 7v7 tournament when the fight was finally broken up.
The “C1N” 7v7 squad from Newton was also taking part in the competition.
The battle broke out under a pop-up tent that was visible at the top of a football field, however it is unclear how it started. Eventually, when onlookers attempted to break up the brawl, Newton was spotted holding onto someone at a fence.
Subsequently, a man wearing a white T-shirt entered and delivered a powerful blow, although it didn’t seem like anyone was really hurt. People began to scatter, and a security guard ended up stepping in the thick of things as well.
