Speaking at an event in London, the parliamentary candidate stated that his party was ahead of the Conservatives by a single percentage point in a poll.
The pollster Mr. Farage was quoting, YouGov, places his party at 19%, while the Conservatives are at 18%.
Reform is ranked third by the News poll tracker, which averages all of the results.
According to the rankings, Labour is at 42%, Conservatives are at 21.8%, Reform is at 14.3%, Liberal Democrats are at 10.4%, Greens are at 5.9%, and SNP is at 3.1%.
Mr. Farage “demanded right now” that “the news put us into that debate” during his Friday lunch speech.
It seemed like he was talking to the special Question Time program that would air on Thursday, June 20.
The next week, Sir Keir and Rishi Sunak will have a one-on-one leadership debate.
Although smaller parties sent their individual leaders, Labour, the Conservatives, and the Lib Dems did not attend the two seven-person leadership sessions in which Mr. Farage has already participated.
