The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said today that Pakistani security forces killed nine foreign terrorists, including two suicide bombers, in Bajaur District through an intelligence-based operation.
Based on information gathered about the presence of foreign militants, the operation, which took place overnight between October 23 and 24, targeted a hideout.
All nine militants were killed in the ensuing gunfight between security personnel and the terrorists.
Two suicide bombers and a high-value target, Saeed, also known as Qureshi Ustad, a sought international terrorist leader, are among the dead. From the terrorists’ possession, a sizable amount of explosives, ammo, and weapons were found.
The ISPR claims that the terrorists who were killed committed several terrorist attacks against both civilians and security forces.
