Barrister Muhammad Saif, the adviser to the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has stated that unless all sides give up their weapons to the government, peace in District Kurram is impossible.
“Without disarmament, ensuring security and reopening roads remains a challenge,” he stated on Thursday during an interview with News’ morning show, Pakistan.
The adviser to the KP CM emphasized that the government would be able to remove blockades, such as those on a 20-kilometer road to Parachinar that is still closed as a result of a recent convoy attack, thanks to the disarmament process.
Barrister Saif emphasized that stability depends on resolving such important security concerns.
In an independent endeavor, the government has used a helicopter to deliver necessary medications to the Kurram district. The KP official guaranteed the delivery of vaccines, cancer treatments, and other life-saving medications.
