Ahead of their Champions Trophy 2025 opener against Bangladesh on February 20, India skipper Rohit Sharma has emphasized a methodical approach for his squad, saying that they intend to take things “one game at a time” as they quest for the coveted ICC crown.
Sharma emphasized the need for measured growth while acknowledging the significance of the tournament’s comeback after an eight-year break during a pre-match press conference in Dubai.
Each and every ICC title is significant, and this one is no exception. On the day of India’s match against Bangladesh, Sharma stated, “You come here thinking about winning the trophy, but our goal is to win one game at a time and keep moving forward.”
