QUETTA: In order to combat terrorism and maintain the nation’s wealth and stability, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of national unity on Monday.
During his special visit to Quetta, the premier addressed a meeting on the state of law and order in Balochistan and declared, “There is no room for political division or politics on national issues.”
In addition to the 23 terrorists slain in later clearance operations, his visit occurred days after 18 soldiers died while stopping an “act of terrorism” in Balochistan.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) claimed in a statement that the terrorists tried to set up barricades in the Kalat district’s Mangocher general area.
“This cowardly act of terrorism was carried out at the request of hostile and hostile forces.”
