GUJRANWALA: In relation to a case filed in 2020, a judicial magistrate on Tuesday issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Rana Sanaullah, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s adviser on political affairs.
The lawmaker is charged with attempting to remove a container and run over police officers.
During the hearing of the charge filed at the Satellite Town police station, Judicial Magistrate Sidrah Gill Nawaz ordered the police to detain the lawmaker and bring him before the court on December 12.
The case, which was filed on October 16, 2020, involved a gathering of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) that took place in the city and mentioned the former lawmaker.
Sections 149, 147, 186, 353, and other laws of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) are included in the first information report (FIR).
