Nooh Dastgir Butt of Pakistan has created history by breaking the previous record at the Asian Powerlifting Championship in Tashkent.
Nooh set a new Asian record in the squat event by lifting an amazing 400 kg while competing in the 120+ kg category.
His outstanding effort earned him the championship’s first gold medal.
Nooh is in line for additional honors, and the remaining medals in the deadlift, bench press, and overall events are still up for grabs.
