The upcountry has officially entered winter, and snowfall has come in Kalam, a popular tourist site in Swat, adding to the natural splendor of the valley.
Significantly lower temperatures have been seen, along with precipitation in Mansehra’s plains and snowfall at higher elevations.
According to reports, Babusar Top has almost a foot of snow, which is affecting local traffic flow.
Additional rainfall is expected in a number of higher regions of the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi, as well as nearby sections of Punjab’s Potohar region and portions of Kashmir, according to the Meteorological Office.
