At the Democratic National Convention (DNC) on Tuesday night, former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama delivered a one-two punch, pushing voters to support Kamala Harris in her last-ditch presidential run against Republican Donald Trump.
Obama, the nation’s first Black president, has thrown his enormous political weight behind Harris as she attempts to become the first woman, Black, and South Asian elected to the US presidency on November 5.
“We don’t need four more years of instability, bluster, and clumsiness. On the second day of the Chicago convention, Obama addressed the delegates, saying, “We have seen that movie before, and we all know that the sequel is usually worse.”
