Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari have called on the international community to take decisive action to put an end to egregious human rights abuses in India’s illegally occupied Jammu & Kashmir and Palestine.
In their individual statements on this International Human Rights Day, they vehemently denounce the ethnic cleansing and genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinian people in Gaza and other occupied Palestinian territories, as well as the crimes being carried out by the Indian military in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the President, all Pakistanis are guaranteed fundamental rights under the country’s Constitution, and we are committed to improving human rights in order to empower our people.
