In an interview with News that took place recently at the Toronto International Film Festival’s “Eden” premiere, actress Angela Armas said that she moved from Los Angeles to a rural Vermont cabin in order to “get away from the craziness of the world.”
“Everyone wants the opportunity to create their own secure haven. That’s a choice I made for myself. I feel really off the radar here at my new home,” she said. “I am able to gather myself and bring only the people I desire to be with me.” That’s where my tiny cocoon is.
When the “Knives Out” actress started dating Ben Affleck, it garnered a lot of attention. The two met on the set of their 2019 film, “Deep Water.” They later decided to split up in January 2021.
She spoke of feeling as though something in her life needed to change, however it’s unclear if it had anything to do with her decision to move.
De Armas made her breakthrough performance in the 2019 movie “Knives Out,” starring with Jamie Lee Curtis, Chris Evans, Daniel Craig, Christopher Plummer, and other well-known actors.
